I created this patch to simulate the range of tones used between "5150" and the "Balance" albums. This is a STEREO patch and you must use L and R speakers to get the most out of it. All of the pitch shifting occurs on the L channel and the delayed reverb is in the R channel. After researching his setup for these albums, this was a nice compromise between all of them. I understand there were subtle differences between them in the reverb or amount of micro-pitch shifting but this will definitely get you in the ballpark to play any of those albums. No snapshots yet. Just wide open Poundcake!

This is my take on the 90's Van Hagar Era Brown sound. I've studied the tone and tried to make it as close as I can by using everything that was used along with the same amp settings. I know EVH didnt use an OD, but I had to add one as a clean boost or else it would've been too flubby. YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THIS FREE CAB IR (EVH 5150III 4x12) IN ORDER FOR IT TO SOUND THE BEST!!!
