I've already uploaded a patch for this song, with some synth things around. This is the patch that I actually use with my U2 tribute band, and it just replicate The Edge sound with parallel paths for 2 analog delays and 2 vox amps, but with a compressor at the beginning of only one path. The sound is compressed and dynamic at the same time, the delays are clean and distorted at the same time. Enjoy it!

In this patch I've used the 3 Note Generator to recreate a synth sound to play over. Set your global setting to 8 snapshots, some snaps will change the synth chord and some snaps will add some effects. Choose an appropriate IR (I use mix between Greenback and Alnico Blue).
