O.K. Helix Users - as we slip from 2015 into 2016 and we are "Reelin' In The Years" - here's a really quick and dirty Steely Dan tone. Enjoy! And Happy New Year. Oops! Late update 10:45pm Dec 31, 2015. What a dork! - I know I said this was quick and dirty but, if I had researched this properly I would have known that Elliott Randall used his '63 Strat with a 1969 Gibson Humbucker neck p/up straight into an Ampeg SVT bass amp to record this classic. Sorry guys - there is a SVT in the Helix, so give it a try for yourself. Me, well I"ve got my party head on and I'm already full of beer. Happy New Year again!
