because of 10.000 views on my Youtube-Channel today I want to provide a very special free preset for the Helix to say thank you: “Shine on you crazy diamond” by Pink Floyd with a synth-backing. Based on my “Dark side of the moon” preset and the “Shine on” preset by Mäx Mellinger from the german Line 6 Helix group. Played with my G&L Stratocaster, Neck-Singlecoil (with a mid-boost), into Helix and into Cubase, no post-processing, 100% Helix. I used two selfmade IRs you can download for free. Helix LT

This patch tries to emulate the guitar tone in the studio version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond. First snapshot is the clean into-mixer solo, second one is for Syd's theme, third one is the main solo and rythm (you'll adjust with your guitar volume), last one is for the phaser solo. The patch was built with a Helix -> Power Amp of a guitar amplifier setup. NOTE: If you use a FRFR cab or monitors be aware that you'll need to remove the high pass filter and change it with an HiWatt cab sim or a IR that emulates it.

WYWH Shine On

POD Go

Updated my Shine on Patch with the new firmware and made some changes.This was created using a Strat with CS69 pickups. Built and tested with my PodGo connected from the Main out to the FX return (FX Loop Mode) of my Catalyst CX60 at Slightly above room volume with cab turned off. I did tweak the cab settings with headphones but may not sound as good as through the Cat loop return. Hope you enjoy.
