This is a preset for Pink Floyd – On the turning away, with 3 snapshots for the intro, rithm and solo part. I put after the HX stomp an external compressor (if you don't have you can skip it, is not essential), a digital delay (strymon dig but you can use whatever you have on your pedalboard) and a dual reverb (hall+room, Source audio Ventris, but you can also use o reverb on your amp). MLOR TurningAway

This tone is inspired by David Gilmour's 1987 tone. Particularly for On the Turning Away. I struggled a bit getting it to sound right but after learning that it was recorded on a small fender amp I swapped in the Princeton which really helped to tighten it up. I then tried it with my Strat with SSL5 bridge pickup and it finished it off. Built and tested going into the FX return of my Catalyst CX. Will probably have to tweak the cab/IR if you use that. Hope you enjoy!
