Full credit to timeblock for his excellent patch. I modified it to (1) have Variax configured as Tele 1, (2) Added snapshot with Trem panned right and main panned left (listen to the chords in the original and you'll hear this). Also dialed up the output a little for my purposes. You can adjust the tremolo mix to your taste at the join point.
