VERSION 3! (I know.....) I did some recording with V1 and V2 and with the help of the TGP forum, I realized there was too much gain. 1 and 2 are still good patches and I'll leave them there, but they're not Boston. I went back and revisited the amp model and switched it to a Plexi. The effects are largely the same, the patch just needed a more vintage-y sound. I also added a lot, in fact the DSP is about maximized. SS1 is Grit+Chorus (the breakdown part of DLB where the main riff is semi-reprised), SS2 is Dirt+Phase (the build-up to the solo), SS3 is the main Boston rhythm, SS4 is the soaring Scholz lead. SS5 and 6 are both versions of Scholz's cleanish electric with 6 being heavily effected. SS8 is a Rhythm+, with the Plexi Drive and Minotaur Gain a little higher. SS7 is called Acoustic. It's a 10-band EQ and a Taylor IR (available here - it's the 314ce Scheops, placed in slot 26: http://bit.ly/29UpHRB). It's as close as I can get my electric to sound like an acoustic without building an entire patch around it. DLB doesn't use it, but it's a decent crib of the intro to More Than A Feeling. I made a quick recording of the sounds in the patch (here:http://bit.ly/2acROIo) playing through different parts of the song. In order, the Snapshots are SS3, SS1, SS2, SS4 and back to SS3. You will need FW2.0 and Snapshots to use this patch.
