This is an experiment gone well!! I replaced the compressor with an AC-30 fawn to get some chime into the JTM45 and it worked. Take note how I used the Fawn, not as an amp, but as a tonal flavour to lighten up the Marshall. Find the IR of your choice ;-) It's based on an idea from Randy Bachman who was using a custom built amp which was loaded and used as first gain stage in his rig, I thought I'd try it out in the Helix. It uses a lot of cpu,so you can't have as many pedals, but is worth the price of admission.
