Although not a complex tone, this is designed to be used for a "multi-purpose" setting. I find myself needing to incorporate a variety of different tones because of the array of music I play at church. But I also love to plug in and play with some of my favorite artists. The amp I'm using here is the ARCHtype that features 2 amazing impulse responses from 3sigma audio. I use the Fender Twin 2x12 to emphasize some clear highs and to warm it up, I use the Suhr 4x12 that really rounds it out. There are 3 intended OD's. The Timmy i use as a light OD, just post break-up, that can be used to stack on the Stupor OD or on top of the JHS Double Barrel. The Double Barrel i have going through the fx loop (note: the FX loop will be empty of course but use any external pedal for a good mid gain crunch). I use the double barrel as a mid crunch and the StuporOD for lead tones which again can stack with the Timmy. Lots of delays, the "Swole" is yes... for the dudes out their for their massive gains :-) but it's primarily used for volume swells (I added the 4 multi-tap delay). The particle verb is great for "Lion and the Lamb" type songs. I left all the eq's alone because everyone has their preference on that. The sounds guys at my church have been fooled believing I'm going through a tube amp... so I thank the impulse responses here to give that great overall tone. The cleans are spanky and the grit can get very dirty. Hope you like!
