I'm a huge fan of 50's and 60's blues - yet I usually play worship music that requires a little cleaner tone. Using a Deluxe Amp with parallel cabs. Using U87 condenser mic with Deluxe cab and M160 ribbon mic with the Silvertone C12Q cab. Mic is 2.5" off of the C12Q cab - and you can adjust distance to tinker with bass response. Both cabs are at 30% early reflections and I added just a touch of '63 Spring reverb. These dual cabs give it just enough body to balance out the higher Fender Deluxe sparkle. I put the Heir Apparent pedal in there for a single drive stage. Compressors are both setup using Sadites base settings tweaked to my ears' liking.
