Helix
This is a Proof of Concept. This is meant to turn the Helix into a pseudo synth engine. This sound clip is to show the sound and functionality to expect. https://soundcloud.com/patrick-ward-287871477/helix-launch-pad-oscillator-test-pseudo-synth-3 Other than tonal improvements, this also has an automatic cutoff if value 0 is sent, and uses simple pitch mapped to midi to control which octave it should be in. In order to control this, you will need to configure midi CC to send a single note with given velocity corresponding to the notes below. C 1, C# 12, D 24, D# 35, E 47, F 58, F# 70, G 81, G# 93, A 104, A# 116, B 127 My set up is a midi controller into FL Studio DAW that sends midi out to the Helix.
