P&W 1 or 2 Amps

This is my "go to" P&W patch. Use 8 button mode for all options. Main guitar is TV Jones Filtertron loaded Tele but works with buckers as well. I tend to like my patches a tad bright so I can get some extra control from the guitar tone and volume knobs. AMPS Essex A15 and Deluxe Features: foot switchable delay options, 1 amp or 2 amps, and a "hold" function. Overdrive is a custom that adds a bass preamp to the Tube Screamer for a different EQ (Similar approach to my ZenLike patch.) I have the Overdrive only hitting the Deluxe. When you go to 1 amp mode you still have the OD available. Overdrive also reduces the delay mix a tad. The "ONE AMP" button turns off the 15 Essex so you're Deluxe only. This gives a cleaner tone with a bit more midrange. Typically a neck pickup sound for me. Part of the reason for this is there are times in P&W environment where I need to dial everything back a bit. Maybe a quiet reprise or maybe just a calmer vibe than originally rehearsed. This gives me a fast way to dial back. Also not a bad place to start if you're trying to lift over the course of 3 or 4 verses. Simple Delay Defaults to dotted 8th and scale of 66% there are two footswitches above. 1 changes to 1/4 tap tempo and the other changes from 66% to 75% scale. The Math on this is 66% with dotted 8th makes first reflection a quarter note, and 75% on 1/4 note makes first reflection a dotted 8th. if you leave Scale at 66% with 1/4 the first reflection is the 3rd note of an 8th triplet. SHORT VERSION. USUALLY BOTH OFF OR ON are my defaults. HOLD button pushes the decay rates on delay and reverb a lot higher. Not exactly a freeze but lets you let something ring a bit longer. It's momentary so you hold it down and it holds. I'm sure my next version of this will have different amps and overdrives. This is my "get the job done" patch for the time being. Enjoy. There's also a FX1 FX2 return at the end of the chain. I use this to play along with MP3s while I'm practicing.
