another gig-ready patch using the new "Cartographer" amp model in 2.3 Firmware Update. In this patch I am running the Cartographer (based on a modified 1977 Traynor YBA1 amp) through two 2X12 cabs - a closed-back ZBest and an open-back 2X12 with Celestion Blues. A distant ribbon mic on the ZBest and a dynamic mic on the open-back cab. Blending the Cab Levels work great for tweaking the highs/lows for different guitar pickups. Clean, Crunch, Drive, Ultra-Drive snaps and 4 stomps - 70's Chorus, Bias Tremolo, More Reverb, Lead/Gain Boost. Great cleans, very usable crunch-tone, and two levels of overdrive distortion. This amp model is HIGHLY dynamic and the cleans to means cover a LOT of tonal territory. Built using a dual humbucker strat (Lollar Imperials) and a QSC K-Series FRFR at gig volumes.
