Mags & Variax
An original sound
This is a patch I made for using a Variax with the Helix. The top path has the Mags as the input with a basic Marshall tone. The bottom path is set to Acoustic2 from the Variax. On each path, expression pedal 1 is assigned with inverse values. So, when you push the pedal down you get path 1 with the electric sound and when you rock it back you get only the acoustic. As long as you leave the volume pedals in place, you can change anything with the tone on either path to keep this switching functionality.
