'52 - Matchless

An original sound

I'm a huge fan of 50's and 60's blues - yet I usually play worship music that requires a little cleaner tone. Here's another cleanish patch using channel 1 of the Matchless amp. It's very similar to the '52 - Deluxe Patch I uploaded. Some people dig 6V6 and some people jive more on EL84 - so I posted both. Went a little different direction with the cabs on this one. Using 4038 ribbon mic with 4x12 SoloLead cab (6") and U87 condenser mic with the 2x12 Match G25 cab (1.5"). You can adjust the mic distance to tinker with bass response. There is some '63 Spring reverb added for flavor - and you can adjust that as well as cab reflections to your liking. In my opinion, the KOT (Tone Sovereign) sounds amazing with a Telecaster and is usually my go to with a Tele and a cleanish amp. Compressors are both setup using Sadites base settings tweaked to my ears' liking. All you have to do is add your delay(s) and dial them up to tempo. Good rig for Telecaster and most modern worship tones.
