I paired an AC30 with a Cali Texas Channel 1 to build a tone that blends British sparkle with bold American headroom. The AC30 brings chime, harmonic detail, and upper-end clarity, while the Cali Texas adds width, punch, and a smooth, supportive low end. Together they create a sound that stays articulate and open on the cleans, yet fills out naturally as it’s pushed. The preset is organized into eight snapshots: Clean, Clean +, Clean Wet, Clean + Wet, Crunch, Big Drive, Lead, and Swells. The Wet snapshots lean into atmosphere with spacious delays and reverbs that add depth without sacrificing note definition. Clean + sits right at the edge of breakup and responds beautifully to pick attack and volume control, making it easy to move between gentle rhythm work and more expressive moments. For the drive tones, I used an 808 and a Minotaur primarily for subtle color and shaping, with most of the gain coming from the amp settings themselves to preserve an organic, amp-driven feel. I built and dialed this patch using in-ears with a Tele Custom and a Nashville Tele, focusing on clarity, articulation, and a tone that translates well in a full band worship mix.
