The Wong Preset

I did a good bit of research putting this patch together. Starting from the beginning of the chain. Compressor: Cory did a video with UAD walking through how he gets his tone with some plugins, the LA Studio Compressor seemed to be the right option to mimic those settings on. Drives: Cory uses his signature JA Optimist, which is a Timmy/Klon style. I didn't do much tweaking of these, but they are there for you to dial in to your taste. Amp: Cory uses a Solid State DV Eric Gales Raw Dawg amp, so I chose to replicate it with the JC-120. He runs 2 of them at slightly different settings, so I dialed in the amps to compliment one another. Cab: It seems like Cory is most commonly using cabs with EV12's, so I selected a pair of Open Cast 1x12's and put a 57 on one and 121 on the other. Others: I love some wet effects, so there is a Phaser, Reverb, and Delay available. I'll typically leave the Dynamic Room verb on very lightly just for a touch of space. I hope you enjoy the patch!
