VH W/D/W Soldano
For VH W/D/W Soldano by Van Halen
This is a variation of my original "Van Hagar" W/D/W patch. In this patch, only one single amp block is used to replicate the signal path of a real W/D/W rig. The amp block is a Soldano in this version, and it utilizes the 1/4" out to a center powered wedge (I'm using an ALTO TS210). The signal path splits to 2A and 2B where the stereo pitch shift effects are loaded. Then, those stereo effects are routed through the XLR outs to my 8" monitors. It is a massively wide sound!!! This was created to simulate the Van Halen "Balance" era tone. To get the most out of this patch you will need 2 stereo monitors and a dedicated center powered monitor . Enjoy!
