Been looking for something that I could use through my effects return for amp at practice, but be able to play stereo through P.A. This allows you to do both at the same time by putting a cab sim only out to XLR. If using only amp, I would switch out amp model to pre-amp model. This will work alright using for practice and ready for gig if you use direct. Love to hear feedback. Worked with a couple of well known Helix guys to do this. Thanks Glen and Richie! There are no IR's needed. Upgraded to version 2.5 but may not be mandatory. Make sure headphones are monitoring only XLR. You could also run a wet-dry rig from this by just deleting the delays, chorus and reverb off the 1/4 string going to the amp and putting a mic on your on stage cab along with the stereo effects coming direct from Helix.
