Snapshot 1 = Intro/cleanish sound Snapshot 2 = Main distorted sound Snapshot 3 = Bridge part. I designed this patch to be used in the FX return of your amp hence why the cab block is switched off, however you could turn it on again if you liked. I’ve used the glorious Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier amp in this patch – an amp which Daron has used in the past. I’ve boosted it with a Tube Screamer to give it some tightness. The bridge section has a bit of flange on it which you can hear on the record. I love Daron’s main distorted guitar sound on the Mezmerize and Hypnotize albums – so heavy and tight, but with surprisingly lower gain than you think.
