The idea behind Swans preset is to have a simple, great sounding basic tone that he can use straight to front of house. The tone uses the Ventoux amp block with two cabs in parallel and a simple Scream 808 OD, Tape delay and the Dynamic Hall reverb to add some ambient effects when needed. The first block in the chain is a parametric EQ that is used to shape the tone of the guitar before hitting the amp. This allows Swan to make some precise cuts where he feels it is needed. Swan´s preset from his improvised performance titled Souvenir and part of his live rig that he uses for touring and recording.
