First full day with the HX ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I didn't buy the HX for "bread and butter" but that is the only type of demos I could find online. I decided to take a chance and ignore the demos. I bought it, then ignored the presets. Starting straight away with HX Edit, I dug in, and the presets I uploaded here are my first. Honestly, it didn't take terribly long to find some glitchy goodness but 45 days will tell the tale. If Line 6 can take a cue from the "boutique pedal" world and come up with some "outside the box" modeling (synth modules,perhaps) they will decimate the boutique market. For now, it will be interesting to see how far into the left field I can take the HX over the next six weeks. If things start to sound "samey" then it's over.------------------------------- EDIT: It's toward the end of the eval period but I knew the "HX" was a keeper after about only three weeks. Clearly, it will never replace "left field" pedals, however, with creative programming the "HX" earns the coveted real estate adjacent, between, or following them. ________________________ _____________________________________________________________ Don't forget to add a rating!
