I designed this patch to be used with the FX return of your amp hence why the cab block is switched off, however you could turn it on again if you liked. Noel used many amps in the studio and for this patch I went with one of them – a Vox AC30. He’s famous for mainly using Marshalls live, but I preferred the sound of the POD’s AC30. For the intro I used a bit of tremolo to try and re-create the lead guitar part you hear at the start. For the lead and solo patches I added a Tube Screamer (as Noel did) with delay, increased reverb and an EQ tweek. This is my favourite Oasis song – tis glorious!
