A rockin' lil high gain Soldano SLO patch...I set the gain right at the point there's enough sustain for a lead without getting messy, and where the rhythm chugs are going to still be articulate. I also used a stereo imager at the end of the chain to get a little more width and realism. Sometimes the Helix can sound a little compact (using headphones), even with the stereo room verbs, so that imager can really help out. Lastly, you might want to play with the bass on the amp model itself if you want a little more fatness and crunch; just push the bass up to around 4.5. As with the real amp, the low-end saturates the amp in a certain way that's really fun to play. Note: I used the Aux input due to my use of active pickups. The normal guitar input will elicit a slightly higher gain than originally intended.
