Finally found a Bass IR a really liked and built a patch around it. We have 3 distortions, all run in parallel to a clean signal. The fuzz has a high pass, with a low pass on the clean, The DS-1 has a bump at 3k and a low roll off eq, the minotaur is just set to a low gain for tone shaping. I use the multiband comp to really tame the top end where you get string noise and clang. Also lets you squish the bottom end (which will be clean and the mids (which can be distorted) separately IR wise I use these ones: line6.com/support/topic/21482-th-irs-ty-thursday-irs-mesa-bas...
