HX Stomp XL
Modeled after the Polytone Mini Brute II 1x12'' 100-Watt Guitar Combo Amplifier. Given that this amp had a 1x12" sealed cab, the reasonable substitute or this in the HX Stomp XL is the 1x12 Cali EXT (Mesa Boogie 1x12 Closed-backed Thiele). Unfortunately, this is a ported cab, so it's not ideal to match the Mini Brute II. Feel free to use your own third party 1x12" sealed IR cab. Mesa Boogie also makes a totally sealed 1x12 cab; however, it is not available in the HX Stomp. Designed to be played with studio grade reference headphones. Note: I also run this preset into a AER COMPACT 60/4 ACOUSTIC AMPLIFIER as an FRFR amp, in which case I disable the cab block of the preset as well as the EQ block. The AER amp and its sealed cab does a fine job at getting close to the Polytone sealed cab.
