See my video on my YouTube channel (link: bit.ly/30Go2ct) for a break down of this preset (with playing examples) Obviously you can't really create a Helix patch and expect to sound exactly like any particular guitarist, least of all John Mayer, but using the appropriate 'gear' can get you close, which is the aim of this preset. Plus it's just for a bit of fun and I'm sharing for all to enjoy. FYI, I use the Litigator amp in this preset as opposed to the US Double which I used in my original video on YouTube. I wanted to try the Helix's Dumble-type amp and it sounded good but also louder than the US Double (although I kept the cab the same (2x12 Interstate with 121 Ribbon mic).
