This is my ultimate, ultimate distillation of Jerry Cantrell's modern tone. It's inspired by the Friedman JJ100 amp clips I've heard, but also by the last two Alice in Chains records. I consider it the best hot-rodded Marshall type tone I've ever gotten from the Helix, bar none. Now, to ultimately do what Jerry does, you need to layer two or more rhythm tracks. But this does a great job of giving you that thick, chewy tone in a single track, and it sounds even better double tracked.
