Snapshot 1 = Intro Snapshot 2 = Clean Verse (use neck pickup) Snapshot 3 = Chorus distorted sound Snapshot 4 = Solo. I designed this patch to be used with the FX return of your amp hence why the cab block is switched off, however you could turn it on again if you liked. For the intro I’ve used lots of reverb and an autoswell pedal – you could turn this off and just use the volume pedal if you prefer to have the control over the swell. I’ve actually used the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier amp as it cleans up surprisingly well, which I needed for the clean verse + the distortion sound is glorious! Alas the POD doesn’t (yet) have an acoustic simulator, so it’s just a clean sound for the verse. I can’t believe this song came out in 2009 – I stupidly thought it was only a few years old – time is passing alarmingly fast!
