Here is what I think sounds similar to John Petrucci 2020 lead tone for The Spirit Carries On. Just mimicking JP2C with the ear approach. Try it with Line6 PowerCab or Any headphones/Monitors. Using Suhr SSH+ Pickups. I'm using the (kinda) same method as petrucci Mic'ing Shure SM7B & Royer R121 microphones (Minus Mojave mic) that I've seen in interview with Sweetwater's Mitch Gallagher. I'm using IR Mesa Trad 412 by York Audio,I don't claimed it was 100% accurate but my ears said yes (in my opinion).
