Attempted to mimic the clean Rockman sound from the 80's. Think Boston, Def Leppard's Hysteria, Purple Rain, The Police, and Rush from Grace Under Pressure. I used the 4 cable method through my Boss Katana MKII 100 on Acoustic model with the EQ at noon all the way to try to get the cleanest sound on the amp side of things. Probably works best with single coil pickups. You may have to adjust the EQ for humbuckers or it will sound pretty harsh.
