This is a mid-gain Marshall, based on the 1974x clone that I used to own. It's not meant to be a roaring high-gain beast; this is more of a 70's Marshall tone - mid-gain and meant to be played at blistering, pants-sh*ttingly loud volumes. Listen to Black Sabbath Vol 4 - the guitar isn't that distorted. Deluxe Comp beefs up the tone a bit, the Klon pushes the amp and the Fuzz on a Les Paul neck pickup sounds like the hand of doom.
