For Man In The Box, Machinehead, Far Behind by Alice In Chains, sort of
This started out as an attempt to get close-ish to Jerry Cantrell's Dirt-era tones - high gain, but not muddy. Distorted, but with good definition. Using the base amp sound, I wanted to be able to play the heavy-yet-clear arpeggiated chords from Bleed the Freak, and using FS8 & 9 be able to add progressively more distortion, while keeping good note definition. I'm not a fan of mud. As I was paying around with it, I noticed that it's good for any late 90's alt-modern rock. Try playing the main riff from Bush's Machinehead on it, or some Candlebox.
